"BALLOONACY" Presented By: Imagination Stage (Winter Lottery)

Meet a lonely old man who discovers an unlikely friendship that floats into his life unexpectedly through the window: a red balloon. Set in his solitary ways, the old man begrudgingly encounters the friendly balloon that seems intent on becoming his friend. Packed with physical comedy that will charm and delight young audiences, this award-winning play shows how with a little imagination and acceptance, companionship can come from the most unlikely of places.

Scored by tango music and featuring artful projection design, this original nonverbal piece for ages 2-5 vibrantly celebrates our interconnected world. Outside the lines of the world you see...there's a world of possibility.

Charming puppets and beautiful live music weave a magic spell in this new puppet production designed for the very young. Meet a woman who lives in the countryside with her lively dog, her shy cat, and her cuddly sheep. When she decides to plant an apple tree so she can make a pie for her birthday, she is surprised by an unexpected little helper. Audiences will delight in the warm colors, singing, and storytelling by a company making its Atlas debut.

One cold December morning, a young girl named Skip wakes up to find the entire neighborhood covered in a thick, dazzling blanket of white snow. A playful, if not a little mischievous, winter elf takes her on an adventure – showing her just how magical snow can be! Join Skip as she experiences all the excitement, joy, and wonder of her very first snow day. This nonverbal production features live music and lots of wintertime fun, just in time for the holiday season. View education packet.

What happens when you invite someone very different from you to come over to play? Just such an adventure awaits an adventurous toddler when she introduces her shy imaginary friend to a very special kitchen, where instead of food, they cook up beautiful music! This gentle, whimsical adventure celebrates friendship and turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. As our heroine empowers her timid friend to create music, we discover just what wonders can be accomplished when we all work and play together.
